DA got this a bit late as usual hhhhThis was something interesting shown off the other day! Bandai's official Digimon Twitter page recently held a surprise 'Digi Quiz' where they showed an old design and asked what Digimon it was. There were a lot of guesses, but in the end, it turned out to be Flamon's original design!

Stuff like this is really interesting to me, and you rarely see it with something like Digimon. Even with the artbook coming out recently, it's still difficult to find anything about the designs scrapped in favor of something more streamlined or fitting of a line. As much as I like this Flamon, I think I like the one we got a bit more!

That's a really cool design in the original, in some ways I can see why they went with something more human. Your design is awesome, makes it look super cool. I almost imagine it as if Flamemon had been found by Cherubimon and corrupted instead of Koichi's digimon.

That's a cool thought! I like how different designs are echoed in this draft version enough to make it look like it was meant for multiple evolution lines.
