Stunning performance by Heath Ledger. The Joker was portrayed very well in The Dark Knight. Chris Nolan's rendition the Batman mythos was, imo, what the franchise needed to escape from the gradually dissappointing Batman films of the 90's, specifically - Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.I started using non-photo blue lead to save myself from a disastrous messy sketch. It worked rather nicely with this sketch. And I barely smeared it.

OT: It's funny how in the movie, when Joker was arrested, the police confiscated a potato peeler from him. haha

Hey, please excuse my stupidity... but what's the deal with blue lead?

It's a type of lead used for drafting, architectural designing back when we didn't rely on Auto CAD. haha, but i use it mainly to keep my sketches clean. Plus, because they are called non-photo blue lead, it won't show in a scan or photo.
It's not a stupid question, btw.
