Oh wow I wasn't expecting this. I was actually meaning to remind you about this and maybe make some revisions since I wasn't sure if you'd ever gotten back to it, and I probably could have explained what I wanted in better detail. .__.;
As well drawn as this is, this isn't quite how I wanted it. I kinda wanted her to look a little more cheerful, since it was intended to represent her character development from a shy and troubled character to someone who's legitimately happy. Her expression there gives off more of a seductive vibe if anything. She also looks a lot older than she is. (She's 16 but looks 19 or 20.)
I don't know what she could be searching for either; I didn't mention anything about a search.
Regardless, I'm glad you remembered and went on to finish it. Thanks again.

Damn it... sorry.. but I don't think you ever mentioned her being more cheerful. If you did I must not have remembered cause you commissioned it awhile ago
well first of all. I didn't know anything about a character development.
second, I don't see how it's be seductive. She's just running.
I just used an idea of a "search" because she was running. Or even since she's holding her pendant, it could be that it has special value and she was looking for it.
I just name things a certain way because just using their names seems boring after awhile. I do it with alot of commissions.
I will admit she does look alot older but I didn't know of her age either.
Although I worked hard on it, I'm sorry it wasn't exactly how you wanted it.

I sort of did. "Now, the pose she's in. I'm not really sure, so I'll leave that up to you. But she should be smiling happily; like, really happily. (She never really smiled much due to shyness, so it feels meaningful to see her cheerful.)"
I realize that I was a little vague in my description, which is why I was going to send you another note about it. But I did mention it (and the character development, however subtly it may have been). Considering how long ago it was, (and how far I had to dig in my notes just to find that) I wouldn't blame you if you forgot.
2, I meant the expression on her face, not the fact that she was running.
Anyway, it's alright. You did a good job anyway.

yeah It was quite a long time ago... plus I was just really determined to just finish sketches for commissions. It was in art class when I drew it with no actual internet to go onto and check.

Well I never intended for her to have a seductive face. Plus it's more a faint smile more than anything. Not anyways suppose to be seductive.
you're just saying that, but that just makes me feel worse for not doing it right.
It's unsatisfying to know I didn't do it the way you wanted. But thanks for telling the truth.

(It's alright, I understand. Sorry if I came off as rude as well. I'm always worried about that whenever I point out mistakes.)
I see. Well, either way, while it wasn't the way I wanted it, it was still very well drawn. At least we both learned a little from this to do better next time. If there's a commission from long ago that hasn't been done, it's always good to check back and make sure we've got the details down accurately before starting it. (That goes for me too. I know similar things have happened to me before.)
Anyway, don't feel too down about it.

Well I'm good not. I randomly had a burst of happiness earlier today so I'm fine now.
Pfft, you would've helped actually xD If someone tells me, that just makes me wanna finish it faster. But I knew already that I had to finish it. Plus sometimes, certain characters people commission me to draw can sometimes be alittle difficult. Like the pic I made for someone who actually waited way longer then you, I had numeral attempts at drawing it, but it just never worked. Then finally I was like screw it this'll do. And the pic finally came out decent.I think why It took me so long with yours is cause you had specific hairstyle and hair down or up or something. Like the ref you gave me with the old, revamp, new look, new look with hair down Thing, It was hard to remember exactly which one you chose. Plus the Icon added to it, because it was the same as the New look (hair up), but you wanted hair down... and yeah.. and .. that could have made me hesitate (not blaming you, blaming my hesitation)

Yeah, the hair fiasco was confusing to be sure. I know I could have handled that description better. Sometimes I word things in a confusing or inaccurate way and it throws people off.
