Description
I finally created the mold for that baby. I wanted to build some Glass stuff since years, but I absolutely ignored how to have a good and accurate result compared to the original from the game. I just was sure about something. I wanted something clean and transparent. Just because for me the Glass stuff from Skyrim is something which sounds like precious in my mind, as jewelry. That's my own idea. The last thing, air bubbles are still there and I will try to reduce their number the next time. By the way and for the first time, they are not so problematic for me if I look at the final result.

*finds a bit later* So it's a single piece! imo the air bubbles actually give a nice texture in a way!

Nope, not a single piece. I've made a mold, so I can make several castings of the same dagger

Brilliant work, I can totally relate to where you are coming from about the glass armour and weapons being precious. I always feel only the most talented smiths could make it. It is looking very good, the air bubbles are not tremendously noticeable, I am sure you will nail it in the end.

This is already freaking awesome! Good luck with improvements. If you want to be rid of your "training pieces" send them my way (just joking...)

Haha, seriously I don't know how many "training pieces" of my projects I have at home. I wish I could recast the resin used for these fail, as it possible with metal.

Actually... And seriously. I'm interested in buying this test piece. It would look so good with my Oblivion cosplay dress...

Why not ! But now the dagger on the picture is painted and varnished. My store is still not open and so I'm not sure about the final prices of those daggers. When it's done I eventually can send you a message about this one.

These fucking bubbles! I understand your struggle. I am saving up to buy a vacuum chamber right now.

I HATE THEM. But I think it will be better with another resin. Btw I also want a vacuum chamber, but this is sooo expansive. Maybe the better way is to build my own, it seems that is not so complicated!

I read that it can be dangerous if the pot is not made to withstand inward pressure. Be careful with that.

Yep it's true ! I will not do anything if I'm not totally sure that the process is secured.
