Next to Tazza, the Straffing hawks are my favorite beasties in Leviathan and Behemoth.....and I dunna if any one elso does, but I got the random urge to draw one at 10 o'clock before forced slumber. Helped my insomnia a bit.....
And I love my dog turd/Bovril/kneaded eraser....
.....I couldn't come up with a snappy title...

The eraser bit's a trick I picked up from my old, and only, art teacher, Bleu Turrell in 8th grade (3 years ago). Told me to find the sharpest part and then draw with it. I was like "WTFish...0o"

I like to draw when I have insomnia too.
As for the artwork, I LOVE how you drew the feathers. It's probably just me, but it looks like it either sees something coming straight at it, or it's somehow injured.
Like someone else said, it reminds me of a Pidgeot.
