Description
Requested byI drew it while I was workin the sound system in church last night....not very smart, considering the assistant-not-quite-pastor-in-training was sittin 2 feet away....After service he was all "Let me see the drawing you did."
Me: *Hands him paper*
Him: These are guys?
Me: *Shrug* One of them thinks so.
Him: Why'd you draw it?
Me: Requested
Him: And your explamation?
Me: Romans 16:16...Or 2 Corinthians 13:12 Take your pick.
Both those verses say to 'Greet each other with a holy kiss'....taken a little out of context here, as Im not quite sure this is a 'holy' kiss.....but it got my drawing back...as well as a thump on the head with a hymnal.

nice... that's what gives religion a bad name.
I read somewhere in the Bible not to raise your kids in the way that will anger them. Instead, train them with compassion in the ways of the Lord

No. I've noticed that that seems to scare people away. If they want to know about it, I wont hold back, but I wont shove it down their throats; too much salt makes you vomit.

For what? getting in a bit of trouble at church? ;P
Do you really use the term "Mam"? Is that a regional thing, or a family thing? O:
Are you sure you don't mean worse?

Art-BandGeek In reply to Sorcaron [2011-07-19 03:58:41 +0000 UTC]
For the things I say at/during service.
It's a family thing. Like 'Mammy' or 'Da'
...O.O I dont know....

Sorcaron In reply to Art-BandGeek [2011-07-19 04:12:51 +0000 UTC]
ah ic. hahaha.
Hm, okay. I thought it might have been like an Irish/Scottish(??) thing. They use that in Leviathan, right?
I could only imagine that the obsession would get more intense after you've had more to read XDD;; Unless you're predicting that you're going to get over it soon after XP

Art-BandGeek In reply to Sorcaron [2011-07-19 06:10:41 +0000 UTC]
I think it might have started with some Irish or Scottish thing, but I wouldnt know. Deryn calls her da Da in Leviathan...but I've been callin mine that since I could talk.
I dont know. I think most of the obsession comes from wondering what'll happen next, and when we know what happens next, it'll lose some of it's....whatever makes people obsessed.

ah icic. Is your family from around there at all?
ah ic, I suppose that's a valid point. But.. I don't think much of my fanart comes from wondering about what happens next. Hmm..

Art-BandGeek In reply to Sorcaron [2011-07-19 06:31:32 +0000 UTC]
Uhm....my great gramma's mammy was an Irish-Scott I think. I had to do a family lineage thing for a class in school last year but didnt get too far. Mostly went by surnames and such. I just know that all my family came from Europe at one point or another.
But your fanart is still awesome....

Sorcaron In reply to Art-BandGeek [2011-07-19 07:04:13 +0000 UTC]
haha nice. That sounds like a bit far back XD;;
icic. I think it'd be difficult to do a family lineage thing for me.. Well, other than the fact that I don't know my extended family all that well, I would imagine that having the same last name as 5-6 other people per class wouldn't help XP
Thanks~ ^^
Speaking of which, I'm pretty amazed at the number of favs that my Leviathan sketches have gotten. What is it that people like about them so much?? o___O;;
Be on the lookout for some Newkirk soon. o3o

They're just awesome? For no particular reason, huh? XD
Yes, Newkirk. X3 Well, he started out as Newkirk, so Newkirk it is! Even though there's nothing really Newkirk-ish about it.

YESS. Lol, it was like my running joke before I actually started college. "Oh noes! There's gonna be liek zero Azns there!! D:"
It might be 'exude.' Not sure about that though. exhume (v.): Dig out (something buried, esp. a corpse) from the ground
exude (v.): Discharge (moisture or a smell) slowly and steadily
I think we're looking for def #3 of exude: (of a person) Display (an emotion or quality) strongly and openly
Lolol
Ah no? lol, would you have come up with that name? XP
