Beautiful portrait...and I know how you feel too! I too had a pet I miss very much. She was an American Eskimo Dog, a very smart and kind of friendly one too. She died at 18 of a stroke, and I haven't had a long-haired dog since. My mom won't let me have one because they shed a lot.
