Spectrum is my Ponysona/OC mostly shes just like me but with a few little changes and things that make her an OC as well as such this means that some of her backstory can get sorta edgy because it mirrors my own life and a LOT of it wasn't pretty at times so please bear that in mind

Name: Spectrum Inkwell (Inkwell is her married name before it was just Spectrum and she usually just signs her art with her maiden name)
Age: Pony young adult, or as a human/anthro she's 21
DOB: August 9th 1993
Height: slightly taller than the Mane 6, or as a human/anthro 5'9"
Talent: Natural Artist, which means that in most artistic fields she excels without effort (Drawing, coloring, digital art, sculptures, painting, oil pastels ect.)
Likes: Art, food/eating/cooking, tea, acting, collecting things (rubber ducks, beanie babies, books ect.), romance (she is a huge hopeless romantic), antiques, video games (though she prefers watching her husband play video games more than playing them herself), gardening, swimming, nerd stuff (like D&D and Pathfinder role play dice games, and Star Trek, LotR, Doctor Who, Star Wars, comic books, Superheros stuff like that ect.) lots of shows and movies, and some NSFW things ;3
Dislikes: Bullies, fighting, violence, the cold (HATES the cold ><), horror movies, sports except for swimming, being away from home for long periods of time, and being seperated from her husband for long periods of time (a.e. being apart months at a time because of work)
Family: Mother, Brother, Grandmother and Husband (also lots of long drawn out side family this list is just immediate family)
Spouse: Quill Inkwell

Spectrum Inkwell was born in Rainbow Falls, shortly after her birth though her dad left her mother and she lived with her mother and grandmother until about 5 when her mother remarried and had her younger brother. She never knew her real father he was never there after he left. Around 10 her mother and step dad got divorced and she's was living with her mom and brother ever since until she met her husband and got married. She now lives in Trottingham with her husband but they visit Rainbow Falls often to visit her family.
As a filly Spectrum was bounced around a lot because her mom had a hard time keeping a house because they were very poor. So she went to many different schools and was bullied a lot. No matter where she went it just seems she had "victim" tattooed to her forehead because she was always bullied incessantly (though not for being a blank flank she was actually one of the youngest fillies to get her cutie mark). And from the age of about 7 to 11 quite violently as well. She had sour milk dumped on her on the bus ride home one day, she was pulled down stairs by her mane, and was one time even trampled on by the other students on her way home. She did not have a good childhood. Until she met her first friend Fresco Matte. They were best friends and she was her only friend for 12 long years, until Fresco betrayed her in the worst way. And they're no longer friends and never will be again.
Her love life was no different for the longest time. No one wanted her. She at one point was in love with her best friend (they're both bisexual) but she didn't love her back the same way. Any relationships she was in, the few she had, were very abusive. Until she met her husband who essentially saved her. They met by chance in Canterlot one day when Quill was going to get a book of his published and Spectrum was at an art showing and they hit it off immediately. They talked for some time and dated for a year before they finally got married in Rainbow Falls.They were best friends from the start, everything with them just seemed to fit they are true soul mates
And despite all the really hard and very dark things (a lot of which in my own past were too edgy to add here) that happened to her Spectrum stayed a very kind-hearted, gentle, loving pony. And now married and very happy her life seems to finally be crawling from the darkness into the light. She's fairly optimistic about her future now

Personality wise Spectrum is a kind, loving, gentle pony. Because she was bullied as a filly quite awfully she suffers from a very heavy amount of depression and yet for her loved ones somehow seems to remain cheerful though her husband can always tell when shes truly sad behind her smile. For a long time she was also suicidal and self harmed but managed to make it through her darkest times okay. She no longer self harms or is suicidal.
For the most part Spectrum can be the happiest pony you know (though less than Pinkie Pie ;D ) shes fun and bubbly especially when you get to know her but in public or around people she doesn't know shes very quiet and doesn't like to talk much unless you bring up her favorite show or nerd thing ;3 then she will talk your ear off and warm up to you quite quickly.
Though she still has no friends she refuses to let anyone close for fear of getting hurt again it took a long time for her to trust her husband even. Though shes trying to get better at trusting people.
She is a HUGE romantic X3 like hopelessly so, this pony is always lost in romantic daydreams and silly romantic stories and shes always been so. She would read romance novels as a kid and when she discovered anime/manga she was so into shojo it wasn't even funny XD Romance and romantic things are a HUGE part of who she is, she's hopeless like that ;D
Though shes never been a girly girl she'd happily romp around in the dirt and play with bugs and come home trailing twigs and dirt and scratches. She can be very masculine and isn't too girly but still has a very feminine side to her. She balances the two quite well making her not a tomboy but not a diva either, shes well rounded.
Spectrum is also very smart (not quite Twilghts standards ;D ) she has a 142 IQ and loves learning but hated school (for previously stated reasons) She mostly likes to learn on her own reading, researching and doing lots of hands on learning (except math she just could never get a grasp on maths).
Spectrum loves acting as a Leo she's a natural Diva ;3 but she's always had a love for the stage even as a filly and even though her super special talent and her dream is to become a famous artist she also always wanted to become an actress
Spectrums super special talent is art, she has always been able to do artistic things for as long as she can remember she has just a natural talent for artistic thing from pencil and paper to a canvas to digital art and so on anything artistic she could just about do it and she loved it all. She got her cutie mark around 5 years old because she knew she would always be an artist.
Her cutie mark is a mechanical pencil (her favorite artistic utensil and medium, pencil and paper) drawing two hearts which overlap the largest one is unfinished and fades out black from the spot where the two hearts overlap ( her favorite type of art and in her opinion her best works in black and white inks or ebony pencil) the middle part is grey and the smaller heart is white it symbolizes her love for art and all things artistic and romantic and how she puts that into all her work and her life
The pencil always faces away from her tail and the the eraser is always pointing down (though in earlier art of her sometimes that is different) and the smallest white heart is always towards her tail
All of Spectrums magic pertains to her cutie mark she has very little magic that helps her outside of her art besides the basic unicorn magic like levitation and such she only really knows one spell that isn't art related which is the spell that helps Earth ponies and Unicorns walk on clouds she learned this spell quite late in life so she could meet Quill's family in Trottingham and to be able visit places like Cloudsdale and things with him because he's a Pegasus and she wanted to be able to do all those things with him even if she can't fly

Though for a short time as a kid she lived in Ponyville she does not know any of the mane 6 personally though one of her favorite places to shop is Rarity's boutique because she loves her designs (especially some of the saucier designs in the back of the boutique ;3) though her clothes (and other designs X3 nsfw) are very expensive so she doesn't shop there often only sometimes to treat herself :3

Some small unimportant details before we go ^^ her favorite color is purple but she loves rainbows more than anything, her favorite animals are tigers, she has a pet black cat named NightShade, she loves all kinds of music but especially rock, heavy metal, and techno/rave music but she really listens to almost anything except country music and some crappy rap, one of her favorite bands is Duran Duran, she collects rubber ducks, beanie babies, crystals and stones, nerd merchandise from some of her favorite shows, and antiques, her favorite show ever (of all time X3) is Red vs. Blue (shes highly obsessed with it), her favorite video game ever is Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube (also her favorite console), bacon is her favorite food (she has obsessive amounts of bacon themed things) and she cannot live without tea, she LOVES playing Pathfinder and other table top polyhedral dice role play games, shes obsessed with Japanese culture and food and has been for a very long time
And her poison joke effect is that she shrinks like AppleJack does in the episode Bridle Gossip

Also I did this ref sheet to look like it was drawn on a clipboard and paper because I draw all my art first on a clipboard which I have had all my life and printer paper so that is just another aspect about who I am and who Spectrum is as an artist
And if I was to start doing these ref sheets for commissions they would cost from $30 to $100, $30 being the most basic ref sheet with just the front back and side picture and some info and $100 being something like what I've done with mine coming with all the fixings ^^ even more like Breezies or Rainbow Power ponies would also add to the cost
