I'm so pleased you played it, the Yakuza games are really underrated I think, I can understand it having a kind of cult following though especially outside Japan. 2 is even better than 1 so I really recommend it !

And yes, Yakuza isn't so popular in the west since people usually compare it to GTA-series.

Yeah which is strange because it's NOTHING like the GTA series, it's more similar to Shenmue if anything(especially in it's PS3 incarnation).
I think the radar/map is the only similarity to GTA ~

I like using this oekaki bbs style because it's easy for me and quick to produce, but actually after finishing this pic I thought "ok, it's done ... hmm this is quite boring ..." oh well submit anyways!
