I'd really appreciate it if you had a look <3 And to those who already watched, thankyou!
I was going to try and upload it to deviantfilm but something's up even though I accepted a film invite years ago :/ So until that get's fixed, it's over on vimeo for all to see!

Ack! Loved it!! Your style is so simple and clean and looks amazing when animated. I think my favorite part was when she flew up in the air after the bomb went off. Dunno why, but it was kinda awesome. Amazing stuff, you're so talented it's sickening!! <3 <3

That was really cool!!!! My God how you've changed and improved. I'm so jealous you can animate now ;w; I remember when you were still applying to go to animation school... how the time flies.
It was poetry in motion my dear. The music was great, the characters were great, the colors were awesome, and the only thing missing were voices. (Which, I know you couldn't have done for whatever reason) it was straight up awesome though.

thankyou so much kino <3 i really love getting comments from you, although i don't always get around to replying ;m; i'm glad you liked it. and not doing dialogue was really a conscious choice. we don't study lipsyncing here so it probably would've looked kind of amateurish if i did it :/ plus i kind of prefer animating where most of the emotion/storytelling is told through just acting and not voices, i think it's good to try and create a comprehensive story without dialogue :3

S'all good, glad to be of service though :3
I'm surprised an animation school wouldn't teach their students about animating talking... that seems like an obvious point being missed. But, as you pointed out, a good story can be told without the need for dialogue.

ah, i actually phrased that kind of incorrectly. my class ended up not receiving lipsyncing classes because of some modular change or something :/ years since us and previous years had lipsyncing classes, but it's only a few weeks of lessons, so there's still not enough emphasis on it despite it being a massive part of the industry :/ so yeah, hopefully i can pick it up along the way...

Huh D: that's different. To me, it sounds odd. But it doesn't make your animations any less fabulous. And I'm sure you'll learn it along the way.
