Only Minato was sealed by the Shinigami. Kushina just died from one of Kurama's claws jammed through her torso. With the last bit of her charka sealed into Naruto.

It would be epic if this did happen. I would love to see Jiraya and Minato tag team against Natuto while Kushina fought Hinata or Sakura. Or even both at the same time.
