Description Skulls are a recurring theme in a lot of my original works, I don't know why, they just are. Anyway, I was looking at ways I could combine skulls with aspects of the living world and I came up with an image of a sort of tentacled skull, which was eventually refined into the work you see here.

The animal itself is clearly a cephalopod, just not any particular one. There's a bit of a blend of octopus, squid and nautilus here.

You'll also notice a change in style from my other works. It's because this is a much more recent work (done early this year).

You inspired me to draw something like this now! you dont mind if i use the whole skull shell idea? you can totally tell me off i just want to know if it's ok, i had a similar creature such as this but i had wanted to modify it up a bit, this is the first idea i have had since i drew it.. i like it though! Really original!

Cheers mate, knowing that you've inspired others with your work is one of the best feelings you can get as an artist. I have no issues with you using the idea, in fact I'd really like to see what you can come up with.
