I actually wanted to draw something sweet and a little melancholic at the same time.
I dunno, I've always imagined Nines having more troubles dealing with emotions, since he was built to me more refractory to deviancy. I've always imagined him being activated and immediately converted to deviancy by Markus, after the good and peaceful ending of the game, so he didn't even have time to gradually shift to being a deviant like most of the other androids did. (Because Markus awoke them, but I think the started developing feeling on their own like Kara or Connor did, so they were basically predisposed to it)

I was feeling super gloomy the day I drew this. I've been feeling like I don't have control over my emotions lately, like I'm always overreacting to any little stimulus, like I'm feeling too much. 

I let my emotions guide me and I drew this. Nines and Gavin, both incapable to handle their emotions, although in very different ways. So different and yet so similar in a strange way. Maybe that's why the work so well together.

Same with me, in pacifist path I think Nines was made to be more machine-like, ready to replace Connor just in case Amanda's plan succeded. Connor was supposed to be a deviant since the beginning so he can infiltrate Jericho and Cyberlife/Amanda can regain control of Connor, take Markus' life, continuing to hunt down all of the deviants, then automatically ended Connor's (or RK800 series) purpose. If this plan succeed (no deviants around anymore), Cyberlife could sell the new RK900 series, who are perfected and more immune to deviancy, to public. But the plan has already failed, Nines was awoken and reprogrammed by Markus or Connor. As the result, he's become a deviant who still doesn't understand the deviancy itself, because it's contradict his initial purpose.

I always imagine Nines having difficulty to express his emotion or troubled by his lack of social module in first place, because he's not made to integrate with people (unlike Connor). And he has even more stricker program that prevent him to become a deviant android, even when he's already deviant. Fortunately he gets help/guidance from Connor (in my headcanon Connor is like big brother figure to Nines).

And yes both Gavin and Nines have the same case on handling their emotion. But I think it's great to see they learning from each other together, become closer day-by-day, and finally can express their feeling in their own way

Ahah, I guess we have the same headcanons about Nines and Connor! 

And I totally agree with you.

Gosh, this fandom is incredible. Incredible.

The game was good, but the fandom is what's really amazing about it. I'v seen a gargantuan amount of art dedicated to DBH. Also, look at the thousands of fanfictions that's been written since the game was out! Some of them are damn good! 

This game boosted our creativity in an impressive way.
I met a lot of cool people thanks to DBH, and even made a couple of new friends.

Honestly for me, it seems DBH fandom totally have the most creative fans ever. We already have tons of fanarts, fanvideo,fanfic, even recently fangame and fanfilm too (that fanfilm is about Reed900 partnership)! I mean, WOW THAT'S BEYOND AMAZING!!! I'm so glad joining this wonderful fandom

Funnily enough when first time I landed on DBH fandom I though Reed900 ship is based on canon story in the game, like they must have met in game at some point and had some interaction, right?

Then I was completely in shock when I found the Truth™ after watching the game playtrough! How am I supposed to know that one of the most popular DBH ships, that featured nearly everywhere in any fanworks, is actually a crack ship?? That one character only appeared in 10 minutes in total and the other just on screen like 30sec, never even met with each other, and their character interpretation are mostly build by fans? MIND BLOWED. And then I fall so hard for this ship!

From my experience on fandom-hopping, Reed900 is the most successful, loveable and believable crack ship I've ever encountered. Bless the creativity of DBH fans!! They're truly on next level XD
