Even low is unfortunately more than I can afford haha. But maybe if I end up having to self publish I can spend whatever I'd spend on stock images to make it myself and you can draw the cover I made.

On hold right now while I work on my story about my mom for a bit. I was burning myself out with the rewrite, getting nowhere on book 3, and just wondering why the hell I'm putting myself through this.
I think I need to take even more breaks on the rewrite then I have been and just not try and do jack on book 3 unless something actually pops in my head. I hate hate hate that I haven't worked on it, by the time I get to it I'll have no fans left :-p
I hate how slow all this is going.

Ahhh. That's probably a good idea. And no way! We'll wait! Think about how long people wait for those Clan of the Cave Bear books. LITERALLY A DECADE. You'll be fine taking a year off. It sounds like you're just burning yourself up now, like you said.

I just hate that I'm doing all this work without any kind of gurantee it'll pay off haha. That's the worst part. If I self pub then Freelander better sell otherwise I won't be doing this for Ewah. For people that want to buy it I might do a quick edit and temporary put it up but that's about it if I don't at least break even a bit for whatever I have to put out on Freelander.
We'll see. I haven't written or looked at it in about 2 weeks. The most I did was start the new Ewah cover today.

Well that's a good point, but it's sort of one you have in any creative field, art included. If you do prints, there's less cost time-wise, buy they need to SELL to cover the printing costs. Commissions are more profitable, but first you need to get people to commission you!
Oddly enough, that's a good analogy. Hmm.

Not bad at all for such a quick sketch, it has a rather thoughtful almost weary look to it. I'm not sure if that was intended, but it does manage to have feeling so nice work.
