Possible design for Anita from a webcomic idea I've been bouncing around for a while. She's more... cute in this incarnation lol.Time taken: roughly four hours (because I was watching Gargoyles while I drew hahah.)
Program used: Paint Tool SAI
I suppose if I get really really desperate towards Mechacon I could include this as a small print. But only if I get desperate hahah. Tried out a simpler coloring style than what I'm used to here. Feel like my painting class did a lot of good for me!

You're thinking about starting your own webcomic huh? That sounds pretty interesting, it makes me wonder what in might be about and what her role in it might be.. Is she somehow supposed to be more serious and less cute character I wonder?
Anyway the picture is really nice with it's broad, smooth lines and seamless shading. Good job .

Well in the beginning, her character was pretty badass, but the more I figured out her story the more I realized that she wasn't the curvy badass that I had envisioned her as...... ):
Even though I really wanted her to be lol.
She's pretty businesslike and mature. She's actually about 5'4" so she's not tiny...
Her story is... interesting let's just say that.
Glad you like the broad smooth line style I've got going here. I like this more than the sharp lines I'd been using.

I see, so her character evolved differently to what you wanted somehow. I guess I can see how that can happen. It sounds like she still turned out to have an interesting background and well developed sense of character anyway. I wonder about her story. Keep working wit h the idea if you like.
And yes this art style is quite nice.
