My first attempt at using pastels.

This is Death. I had a dream a while back that's just stuck with me for almost two years. Death wears a hood, so no one sees his face. But maybe Death seeks to punish himself for his job by retreating from human contact. If his touch is poisonous to mortals, then he would deprive himself of all comfort and human contact in a desperate attempt to save the humans he watches over daily.

In my dream, Death was a half African American/ American Indian man. I may draw him more often. He had a name, but I've forgotten it...
