There was a quote written on the whiteboard in Geography. I can't remember it, but it was a very long quote, and a good one. It intrigued me.Reading your wonderful comments; it seems I managed to create a feeling that I didn't really intend to
I was so overjoyed on Saturday when I got my wonderful new set of colour pencils. It's been years since I had a fresh set. Now I must learn to use them... better.
Oh yeah... I finally tamed the scanner. Woot!

I like this picture, a lot. ...And just like the other guy, I'm not entirely sure just how to word what I like about it, But I'll give it a try.
The background is really well done. And the sky, the way the strokes there are perpendicular to the dragon's head, makes a really interesting effect.
It looks like the dragon is almost ashamed about painting himself. And the dragon's form and posture is very well done.
I'm not sure why, but it seems profound... as the other guy said.
...Like one must hide one's essence from the world.

The quote wasn't about exactly that, but it was similar. It was about how there are two worlds; the original world is complete but we live in another world, and the world we created is never complete, and we're building toward a goal that we'll never reach. Yeah... it was inspiring

i'm not sure i can explain what i like about this. it feels kindof profound. like having to wear different masks in different situations. hiding one part of yourself from some people, and hiding another part of yourself from others. really tragic.

and to me he looks exhausted, not really ashamed, as if he had flown a bit far to get away from wherever he just was, between the "world" he was just in and the one he's going to next.
