I always thought the top of the Dragoon pilot's head looked like a cartoon cat holding some kind of glowing ball. I first saw this when I was, what, 7, and I literally never saw the face until I was, like , 18.Β

I too use Firefox and it works perfectly for me. I'm afraid I can't help you. Best I can offer is trying it in Internet Explorer.

I left them at the default resolution. If you want one scaled, you can scale it yourself or tell me which one you want. Scaling them all would be a little chaotic and pointless, as many people have the ability to do it themselves.

Ah, I did find them in BrooDat.mpq. Turns out the MPQ utility I was using (MPQView) wasn't able to show any files in BrooDat. I found another utility just now (Ladik's MPQ Editor) that can reveal those files.
I originally was going to post the animations for use in forum avatars myself, but I figured there might be a lot of StarCraft fans who don't play anymore but would like to reminisce by listening to the sounds too. Blizzard did a great job with the voice acting AND the portraits, and as far as I know, my site will be the only place with both.
Plus it's just fun to do for me.

Ya, that's how I feel about modding. What I really love is fulfilling a request. It makes me feel like I accomplished something. Being stricly a gamer, you don't get that feeling much.

I'm working on a similar project, combining portrait animations with the sounds from the game, but I've only semi-completed the Protoss Units page: [link]
I'm wondering if you could provide me with the whereabouts of the .smk files for the Brood War units? I am almost tempted to use the ones that you have in your GIF pack but I'd prefer to setup my own. I split up the "idle" animations with the "talk" animations.

Well, obviously it's not in StarDat. Check in BrooDat, that's where I got 'em. I'm curious, what are the purposes of them going to be? Mine are simply to use as avatars on forums and the like. I don't see how you can add sounds to forum avatars though.

Well, some people hate Artanis... I don't understand why... after all, if he did shuts up and never tell us that there are problems ahead, how are we going to beat those problem? You know what I mean? As for Aldaris, yes he did made mistakes in the past. He recognized it(but didn't sent us backup anyway! XD), so I am for giving him a second chance... after all, he was good all along BW. Why he rebelled is that he knew Kerrigan was just lying again... :S

The thing i noticed about the zergling avatar is that it looks less than a hydralisk and more like a mini-dinosaur.
Or...something.
I don't like when art depicts them with hydralisk faces, cuz that's not how they were originally designed.
