"Based on" Amnesia might be a strong phrase, considering I didn't follow the art- or character-style... could say "inspired" or "influenced" by, perhaps; it was the whole idea!I don't know if I'd even have the guts to play that game. There's something so intriguing about the premise, though: where the only defense you have against monsters is to run and hide. Hard to separate the character's fear from your own at that point; it's genius! I had to watch Markiplier play it so it was funny and not (as) scary. ;D
Almost forgot I had this! I wanted to work on something with a really dramatic angle and dramatic lighting, but somehow none of that came together (I CAN'T EXPLAIN MY LIGHT SOURCE/I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THE LANTERN IS SHHH) so I focused more on the skin instead. Probably could use some more work, but I am in a "posting" mood and not a "stashing things forever" mood right now. (Started this in November, btw... lol?) Besides, I am preparing to unveil another related artwork soon... DUN DUN DUN

My friend bought me the game two birthdays ago and I still haven't summoned up the courage to play it.

hahaha omg whoops does that look like me?? At first, I was honestly intending it to be Daniel, then I think I wanted to get more exaggerated/goofy and got influenced by the kind of cartoonish Tim Burton-y style (not that that ended up working, either xD), but it *was* supposed to be a guy, even if he is kind of young/girly/derpy looking. x}
1. and yayyy markiplier... I should really (try to) catch up on his videos again; he's such an adorable sweetie + goofball. (I can't believe *I* actually introduced *you* to something!!)

Hahahaha I love it. I didn't really play Amnesia but I watched it be played and it is scary stuff! I really love the emotion in this piece and the way you've done the lighting etc. Also good for a laugh <3
