Description
Here is the finished table and chairs. My wife really surprised me when she said she wanted me to leave the wood grain showing, so we compromised and did the back of the chairs in pastel paints and the rest of the chairs and the base of the table with just a lacquer finish. Evelyn loved itso much we had to drag her away so we could sing Happy Birthday to her and have cake...we did let her and her brothers and cousins eat the cake at her new table. The top of the table is done in "chalkboard paint" and there is a small drawer for her chalk and eraser.
The Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, the tea set and the Dora bed set were part of the Birthday surprise.
