If only the game had even a fraction of the appeal that your work has then it might have had some redeeming features. I was really let down (an understatement) when I found out how bad the game was, but at least the new Aliens game looks promising and I hope they have talented artists like yourself working on that game too.

Lol pretty harsh words to share with a concept artist. It's like saying, "Hey man, I dig you. But don't invite me over anymore. Your family sucks." Complaints aside, the art for the game was fantastic. Also it's different studio working on the new Alien game.
To Carlos: awesome work. I browsed through a couple of your renderings and though they were 3D, real time shots. Your perspective and materials are all on point. Excellent work. I just left the Dallas' game design scene for a studio in Austin. If you're still up there, Gloria's has the best margaritas around.

Well the game was a huge pile of crap but in no way was I trying to imply that Carlos had any part of that. His art is great its just a shame that the game was terrible, which by the way I would blame on the higher up decision makers for that game. The E3 footage of the game looked amazing and conveyed that feeling of terror one would expect when going up against a perfect murder machine, but somewhere between the E3 they premired the cool footage and the time it came out they completely dumbed down the game.

I feel like you're missing the point. Pay respect to your fellow artists by complimenting/ critiquing the artist's work, and if you can, do so without preaching your opinions on semi-related topics.
