What has Edyn been doing at art school...LOTS of pencil work! Here is one of the examples of the stuffs...one of the MANY stuffs I has been working on. I HAZ DIS ART BOOK
This was one of my favourite pictures waaaaaay back when I first start drawing. When I redid it, it looked nothing like yours though. Your shading is really in depth here. Your pencil work is great. I especially like the shading on the mushroom and her wings. You've actually given me a new perspective on how to shade wings that looks so much better than anything I would have done.

This looks quite nice! I think you'll be amazed when you see your new skills begin to manifest as you work digitally. There's certain drawing advantages in traditional media that are simply not possible in digital, even though you can emulate the effects almost 100% in digital.

Thanks!!! I have not touched my tablet in 5 weeks D: I think that I need to though...to remind myself that I can draw. Sometimes looking at my other classmates stuff is pretty depressing. Half of them just blow me out of the water!
I am learning a ton though, and having lots of fun doing it!

Technical skill is great, but that alone does not make a great artist! I know people who have lots of technical skill and their creative side is really bland. It's like having the most amazing and featured-filled oven but nothing to cook in it. So don't feel too intimidated by your classmates!
