its nice to finaly see someone on DA producing REAL abstract. I realy like the simplicity of the presentation and the thought and consideration put into the colors and composition.

Thank you very much. Abstract is the one type of art that I actually have fun doing. All the other stuff is so very technical that I end up appreciating the end result more than the process itself. Not quite as fun. Thanks for your comment!

thats one of my problems...i have found that the faster, and usualy sloppier, i paint the more i get out of it. the less time i spend on details that arent needed (not all details though) the less it actualy expresses the message i was trying to convey.

Yeah, I do that a lot too! On my more realistic stuff, I have to work more on the backgrounds. I need to spend as much time on my backgrounds as I do on the subject. So, that's what I'm working on there. lol.

Mm. Good to see a beautiful abstract get a DD. I never get enough of it! You can always come back to the same piece and walk away with a different idea of it. It's got lots of hidden powers that have yet to be discovered! Great work!

I think I've fallen in love with this. The colours just flow so well in together, I can almost feel some sort of inner peace happening. Yikes, scary stuff. Anyway, this is the best abstract work I've seen in many months and I really do mean that. Excellent work.
Oh and congradulations on the Daily Feature

I remember when I was a kid when his "Voice of Fire" made the news because it was purchased by a museum for millions of dollars more than an original Da Vinci they passed up cause "it was too expensive"

Rothko is like the Godfather of feild color painting. In the family of non-objective art, if Jackson Pollack were its abusive alcohaulic father, Rothko would be its soothing and nurturing mother.
