Brief covered a selection of extinct arachnids with colour patterns matching living species.

* Attercopus - urananeid, sister family to spiders, long tail-like flagellum, lacked spinnerets, total length just over 10 mm (colour pattern based on Brazilian black tarantula).

* Chimerachne - closely related to spiders with long tail-like flagellum, total length 5.5 mm (colour pattern based on Vinegaroon).

* Mongolarachne - araeneomorph spider, largest fossil spider, sexual dimorphism, female 25 mm body, male 16.5 mm body (colour pattern based on Yellow orb/garden spider).

* Palaeocharinus - trigonotarbid, may be related to the bizarre living ricinuleids, heavily armoured, total length 3.75 mm, (colour pattern based on a trapdoor spider).

* Palaeophonus - scorpion, blind, total length 7-8 cm, (colour pattern based on Indian red scorpion).
