* Eosimias - early simiiform, size of a pygmy marmoset, mostly known from dental finds, tree dweller (coloured like a Common squirrel monkey, climbing)

* Dinopithecus - very large baboon at twice weight of living species, male depicted, lacks ridges and depressions on muzzle (coloured like a male olive baboon, threat yawn display)

* Oreopithecus - basal hominoid, bipedal, divergent large toe, long digits, short body, skull similar to leaf-eating monkey (coloured like a gibbon, white cheeks, hanging underneath a branch)

* Gigantopithecus - pongine hominoid, largest known primate, male depicted, known from dental finds, teeth were flat and adapted for grinding fibrous plants, sexually dimorphic (coloured like an orangutan, proportions of a gorilla, feeding on vegetation)

* Mesopithecus - colobine monkey, adapted for terrestrial and arboreal life (coloured like a Barbary macaque/snub-nosed monkey, sitting on a branch)
