11x14 Caran d'Ache colored pencil............I think I like this new, lighter approach to pencil application......only time will tell whether I use this for everything and use the heavier painterly technique only for images requiring it to depict smooth textures, or whether I return to the heavy waxy look for it's richness in color and only use this occasionally

Life is a Waiting Game....this is a portrait of a coworker's beloved Yorkie. She seems to like it. Thank God.
