I probably spent more time on this one than I have on a painting for a pretty long ass time. Mostly it was just getting the figures mildy correct. This painting went through many stages..blablabla you get the story, up until the point where it made sense at all ( which is exactly where it is right now). BUT it could be made into something, like...waiting in line at some sort of airport or whatever it might be.In short I just wanted to get a little bit more experience painting people......and stuff

i see a woirld taken over by machines it seems like tight security and i get a slight bit of fear and hopelessness out of the citizen i want to try this style deffenetly

great painting. with all of your pieces it seems like if not the first, than the second subject is the illusion of depth itself. strong dark borders, single light sources, and grading the level of detail of the figures and architechture as they recede are really working for you. my critique here would be that all the figures seem like they were cut from the same mold, all bassically the same height and build, but most noticably facing almost always straight ahead toward the viewer, not interacting with eachother or the envoronment. the men in the foreground could have slightly longer necks but their expressions are awesome, i really find myself wanting to know why that man is so grumpy(late for work maybe?). again, i truly enjoy your work

my gosh you're amazingly talented! I can't believe how young you are. When I saw that canyon painting I thought you'd be at least 22. This drawing as also really great. They look very quickly done, yet very accurate, and conceptual. I love all the little details you put into your work.

your art is very very good, but it always seems like you stop before it's done. in this particular piece, the face of the closest character seems like it's the only thing you finished (the only thing that's solid). It's neat when that style is used on background objects/characters, but when you finish part of one person and leave the rest of the same guy transparent, it just looks like you're getting lazy.
Please don't take offense, there's none intended, I just want you to get much better, the potential is there for you to be one of the best on DA, and if you learned to make your art look more finished, you could become very sucessful with your talent elsewhere, I'm sure your going places even now, but with a few short steps in the right direction you could get some serious dough, ya know.

wow.. this looks great. the guy with the detailed face has perfectly captured the feeling you get at an airport - you know, the "why doesn't everyone in front of me just f_ing die already" feeling.. or maybe thats just me.

Your people skills are improving, you've got very accurate facial anatomy. I still can't comprehend how you can realisticly calculate lighting like that. You must be some sort of freaking mathmatical geneous.

When you die(trust me you will!)

And then when your number is called up, you walk over to window 4c
At window 4c they will verify your death
(I mean Come ON! how else would I be here?)
After they fill out a form and you sign and initial they will send to stage 87D
At 87D they will have your file
On it will be all the important things of your life

I gotta tell ya! you are one talented kid for being 16. I am very impressed! You got great work and you stuff is very inspiring. You will rivel many artist out there as you grow. Nice piece by the way. Thanks for sharing.
