The finished picture looks really really cool in the preview....it's still alright in the final, but it is really cool looking in the preview image.

So, you just use some standard brushes mainly, right? Textures are developed by your random strokes kinda, I guess...
Neat! Oh, yeah, do you work with many layers? At least it seems so!

Yeah usually I just get texture by brushstrokes...and an occational texturized brush or whatever you want to call it. And yes I usually work with quite a few layers..It's nice to be able to erase part of a layer and still have something under it..you probably know what I mean

This is really interesting. I like that.
The way that there's so many layers of shape and color and interest here make it something with depth. You could do all sorts of things with that -- if nothing else, it would be a good strategy to create a dynamic background. I like it.

I was really waiting for a tutorial of you, because I'm one of those quiet fans... I do have one question though: Do you have an idea before you start to paint? I mean... Did you know you wanted a tree on the right side and a ray of light on the left?

Sometimesan idea inspires me to paint...but most of the time I just sit down and start with no idea what might come out of it. Nope that tree was just kinda something that came and went....

wow, i've been waiting for this for a while : ).. but - besides the fact that its cool to see what you do and how you can change subject matter so quickly and easily - i don't know if it helped me at all. i do like the final image, looks like a sunlit path through a forest along a small cliff. the tip of starting with a dark -but not black- color is one i've been trying lately, though i haven't quite got the hang of it. cool idea : ).

you could have mentioed brush spcificis like the actual brush you use what flow and opacity are set too but cool any way its always good to see another artists methods

well in that painting as you can see from the brush strokes they were...never too small and never tooo big. And as far as opacity goes: almost always 100%, because the tablet has pressure sensitivity and stuff..yeah

ok and is flow on full too i use a wacom intuise3 and it is set up for presure but in painter its set up for bearing too

you know I actually have no idea what the flow thing means.sadly... I'm not that technical..i just slap down colors that somehow turn into paintings in the end

ok ill tell ya flow is like how loaded with paint your brush is 100% obviously brush is ozing with paint 1% like youv dipped only the tip,hope it helps , it is diffrent from oppasity

One thingy our tut could have used. You needed to explain how you got a certain look like adding a new layer, adding a texture, brush settings, and perhaps explain why you do these things. It'd make it much more clear.
