So guys, we did it. We reached a Graphic Drawing Tablet Rosetta Stone.Let the tittle be like that milestone styled non-thought-twice achievement so that I have something to cringe about after a thousand years.
I was supposed to do practices with the drawing tablet but I got carried away and yeah the drawing up there was my first with the Xp-Pen Deco 01, still a practice I think. Baptism on fire. It seems GIMP dont give a damn about the 8k pressure of the new tablet so I might switch to other software that gives a damn and set me on fire.
Took me 2.5 days to draw this, not to mention I've been drawing her on my free time after working on the commissions.

Anyway, gotta get back to work. Theres a lot more drawings to finish before this year ends.

So how did you draw the old ones? The style looks pretty similar. Is the tablet just for coloring? How did you do the line art for the old ones?? *pant pant*

The old ones were drawn by my PC mouse, Inking and Coloring.
I draw them traditionally first, scan it. Next I do the inking on my computer then color it. A4 Tech simple office mouse sure is durable. But not my wrist, it starts to hurt last past months because of the mouse.
The new drawing tablet is very comfortable, now that the limitations I have with the mouse are now gone, I think I gotta try different styles with the new Drawing Tablet.

Wow so all of your previous work had mouse line art?? Damn that must have been annoying, especially with the detail you pack into some of these pieces, good job though! I used to do similarly tedious, ultra time-consuming stuff with the line art, tablets sure are convenient for anime pics ^^
