I freaking love Pokemon Moon. It's just good fun. But there were something's I noticed that...made the experience all the more enjoyable for me let's say. So I wanted to capture these moments in the form of comics! This way, I can practice my story telling and comic making abilities in fun, short ways.

The story with this first comic is that one of the most annoying things about Pokemon Moon is that the protagonist face never changes. It's always a small smile and huge, unblinking eyes. This lead to me cracking up in moments that were supposed to be tense or emotional simply because someone would be crying or giving a moving speech and then the camera would pan back to my characters face and she'd just be standing there, eternally smiling. It was hilarious. So no matter how horrific the event, I mean the world could literally be ending!, the smile is permanently etched there and thoes big eyes are forever open....

Alright now to the art lol. I didn't really know how I was going to draw this because I wanted it to be very sketchy and at first without color. But after I did the lines in a way I was somewhat happy with, I thought the absence of color made the drawing to bare, so I ended up adding it in which is nice because I really like color, but it also makes the comic different from what I envisioned. Eh, I'm still pretty pleased with it~
