Oh my...this redesign looks much more evil than the original,although I miss itΒ΄s certain elegance here.It looks more like a mixyture of the Terminator and a Stormtrooper and of course VaderΒ΄s lightsaber,but I really like your design.

Im totally aware that I really messed up this redesign, because Im not totally a fan of SW franchise, I have just tried to make him look more badas as he is

But at the same time I suppose his more hunched and overall more rugged/tattered look grants it this idea that he's perhaps even more physically twisted... the fact that he straps the lightsaber to his arm instead of wielding it regularly almost makes it seem like that his cybernetic replacements just doesn't go well with swordplay (ya, I know that's not the case at all, just tryin to stretch it a lil lol) and he can only really swing it around in a very 'unrefined' manner.
idk why but the pronounced tubes coming from his mask almost makes him seem even more sickly than before. The regular armor was at least shiny and chrome, which served to sorta cover that up a little, but I love how this one doesn't at all. Because all of this stuff then makes you really believe that he is a goddamn Sith and not some guy who swings around a red glowstick; that the real danger behind him lies in his mastery of the Force as opposed to being a physically intimidating 'black knight' figure.Β

I was gonna say, that mask in particular reminds me of a more blocky Aquila helmet. Throw on the one glowing eye and the arm-mounted lightsaber and it kinda makes me think of an Apothecary actually XD
though in all honesty, as much as I do like the design it doesn't really seem to reflect what I've always thought Darth Vader was meant to be? The original design always seemed to have this certain arrogance and majesty to it, I think mostly from his upright posture and stride.Β
As much as I like the sort of purer malice and brutality this seems to give off, I think the original greatness of Darth Vader hinged very heavily on that very sort of posture- but I suppose that's the point of redesigns?

Im glad you like it! But I was told that Vader is more of a fighter,instead of an assassin/ninja. So this type of weapon is a bit impractical for him, this would be better as secondary weapon maybe

First I started with some magnificient as usual, but then I was thinking about what if he spent so much time in exile, collecting new companions for new war..
