Thank you very much. It can be tricky, luckily Vue gives simple to understand sliders. Playing around and messing with some settings is all it takes.

That is perfectly fine, of course. I started with the PLE. I'm just glad they offer a PLE. It's not heavily limited either.

Beautiful. Love the color. Would love to see it at a higher resolution. It would be great as a wallpaper (current res not quite high enough though)

I know.... I need to start rendering my images at higher resolution...
How high would you recommend?

For starters, if possible, I think rendering them in a ratio like 16:9 or 16:10 would be best. I assume most people will be able to use it as a wallpaper at one of these ratios.
For resolution I would say at least 1920x1080. When it comes to how high, I think it really just depends on how powerful your computer is, and how long you are willing to wait for the render to finish. Basically: as high as you can tolerate.
So far I've only rendered in Apophysis. Due to computer limitations, I rarely go above 1920x1200.

I usually do renders in a 16:9 ratio, I got into experimenting around with other cinema style ratios though...Β
1920x1080 is also something I like to do if able... but like you said... Computer limitations are very limiting

I agree. How much larger though, would you say be a good resolution?

Maybe at least 1280 pixel wide? That's what I use for DeviantART.

Hmm, yeahh, that rez should fit most screens. I used a panavision resolution, that's why it's not so high. The Width should be 1920.Β

Thank you for your kind words!
It was difficult since I never used that type of lighting. More to come!
