 Yes. I don't know why, but something about the protagonist's appearance in the bad ending just struck me as feminine. Also, you can only go into the girls' bathroom in Specimen 11's area. I know the door to the boys' bathroom was broken, but it just seemed a little strange to specifically make the mens' room inaccessible.

 It's perfectly fine if you think that. I just happen to interpret the protagonist as a female. After all, the creator did say he intended to leave the protagonist's gender ambiguous, so the fans could interpret them as either male or female.

I do think of the protagonist as female, though if you see them as male, I have no problem at all.
