Ah, io ho cominciata quando avevo quattro anni, fino a dicianove anni.

io ho studiato danza per meno anni dai quattro fino ai quattordici, avevo iniziato più seriamente in un teatro di Torino, ma ero troppo piccola ed era un sacrificio troppo grande, lontano dai miei genitori, i miei amici, così ho abbandonato perchè continuare a studiare in una scuola di provincia non mi sembrava il caso.
Ad un certo punto o continui a studiare seriamente o lasci..

Miracolo, ho capiti tutto. Per me non è mai stato cosí serioso. Mi piace la danza, e quando ero piccolà andava bene, ma adesso... Mi manca, ma è meglio, non avevo voglia di stancarmi per niente, ero la meno buona della classe, ci errano certe cose che non andavano. Non ho il corpo tipico della ballerina, ho delle piccole malformazioni, era quasi impossibile di fare una pirouette. Ma, mi è piacuto, è il più importante, credo.

Wow. This is such a gorgeous piece! Honestly, though, what first struck me was the title. Together with the fact that it's damn hard to stand on your toes like that (I don't dance, so I can't...), this simple statement simply and powerfully contradicts stereotypes of dancers and even of girls in general. Beautiful.

I was looking for a title like that. I used to do ballet when I was younger and I always hated stereotypes about dancer even if sometimes I felt brashy and vulnerable.
I think that the title it's at the same time a kind of declaration to me and to the others.
