So. I have had this photo on my computer for a VERY long time, and have never posted it. I hate it. I really do. I was proud of myself for even taking it, and proud of the lighting and such, but I had never posted it until now because I thought that me in the picture ruined it. But because I hate it, I decided to post it, just in case it might help me get over my own insecurities about my body. This is a rather old photo, my hair is blue and I'm a tad heavier in this than I am now. But everyone who's actually seen this photo wanted me to post it. So here it is. :/ Might be deleted if I get sick of it or can't look at it anymore, but... tada. I wasn't trying to be sexy or cute or anything, this was taken with my own camera after my Liquid Projects photoshoot, and I wanted to see if I could get a picture of my shoes and the pattern of my tights. So... yeah. Ignore this. It's just a step in trying to accept myself for how I am. X___X I still feel like a whale every time I look at it, but I refuse to let feelings like that run my life. This is a step in that direction, I hope. >_<Don't like, don't look. Even I don't like it. I'll understand. Posting this is more for myself than anything, even if it doesn't work out, I'm trying to become more comfortable with myself.
I apologize if anyone is bothered by this or me rambling on about it. I might take it down soon anyways, or move it to Scraps.
So, yeah. Hopefully I'll learn to be more secure in myself and my photos in the future.

Well look...I'm not the oracle on beauty but this is an amazing photo. Wonderfully lit and the pose is really great. You really should have more self belief...you say you feel like a whale? Wow, you have a fantastic figure ! The bad side of our society makes frankly beautiful ladies like yourself feel awful about themselves...I find this very sad.
I'm sorry to say, the reality is that you're a very beautiful young lady so please don't be so harsh about yourself. I love this photo

Thank you so much! That's too nice of you. Really. >__< I know my perception of myself is warped, that's why I'm trying to fix it, and it means alot to hear other's opinions on it, too.
And fff, even if I don't believe it now, please don't be sorry for anything that you have to say, or anyone else. We should be allowed to say whatever we want, and hearing other's opinions gives me a reality check. I appreciate it. I really do.

No need to thank me, truly. I just admire beauty, no motives whatsoever. Well, I just find it sad that so many beautiful ladies have such a low opinion of themselves (and media/society seems to be the main reason). The photo is really well taken...the lighting is soft and subtle...shows of your form very well

You know, I was like you just few time ago, I absolutely hate my physical appereance but then I realize everyone has their flaws, and that flaws is what make us different and wonderful. We are beautiful, no matter what they say

Our imperfections make us perfect! I believe that too, but it's so hard to apply it to myself sometimes. Once I step into someone else's shoes, I can view it more realistically, though. Thank you~ ;///////;
