It's beautiful, but it's such a shame that you have to cover it up with a watermark.

This is a stunning portrait...the soft forms and contrast are very dramatic.
On the off hand, I feel obliged to point out that the strident watermark in the center of the full view makes a piece like this very difficult to appreciate..
Great work, congrats on the D.D.

The Odyssey is a great book, a great song too - ever listened to Symphony X? They made a 24 minute long song about it!
Great painting. I thought it was a photograph at first glance.

Thanks. And, no, I've never heard of Symphony X. I'll have to look for it.
I understand that when Homer sang The Odyssey it was a five day event.

Beautiful work!

I thought it was a photograph!!!!
PS, did you know that photographs used to be called daguerreotypes?
This is so haunting and there's very minimal color used, but it really conveys a sense of darkness.

Beautiful and minimalistic - and quite emotional, with the closed eyes she seems to wait patiently and a bit resigned.
I too thought it was a photograph from the preview. What medium did you use? A deserved DD!
