Episode Overview:
The episode opens with a shot of the royal bedroom. Near the dressing table, Queen Star Butterfly was sitting facing it while combing her hair slowly with her right hand. On the other, she was holding a paper.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you all here...” She says repeating out loud what was written on it. Suddenly a gentle bang on the door was heard. “Come in.” She responds, not taking her attention off the paper.
“Is this the room of the most gorgeous woman in all of the multiverse?” Marco says entering the room. Smiling upon hearing his voice, Star looks at him.
“Not only hers but of the most handsome man in all of it too.” She says winking at him. Making his way near her, Marco kisses his wife. “Have they arrived yet?” Star asks him.
“Well, yeah. Not all of them, but some.”
“Umm.” Done with no magic tricks, Star cast a spell into her hair, which made it soft and shiny. Getting her crown from the table and putting it on her head she took a deep breath. Looking at Marco, she saw him smiling lovingly at her as she blushed in response, turning her head to the door she made her way out, briefly being accompanied by her husband. Just then a question came into Star’s mind “Where’s Aurea?”
“She’s still sleeping. Last night we arrived pretty late from the underworld.”
“I see.” She says thinking about it.
“What did you two were talking about on the carriage last night?”
“Oh, nothing for you to worry about it. Just wanted to ask if she talked with Dana about what happened that night.” She says hiding the fact of the boy talk they were going to have later.
Arriving at the auditorium, Star was behind the curtains, once again reading through her papers one last time before facing the crowd.
“Your Majesty, everyone has arrived.” The royal guard says.
“Thank you.” Putting her papers away on a little table behind there, Star was about to enter when she heard Aurea.
“MOM!” Aurea arrives at the scene, crying for help. Her hair was covering most of her face in order to hide something.
“Aurea?” Star asks. “What happened?”
“I-I... I need your help mom!” she was trembling.
“Sweetie, what’s going on here is really important. Maybe later?” Star smiles at her.
“No! It’s urgent, mom!”
“Aurea. Please.” Star says in a serious tone. “This is really important not only for the kingdom but for you too. Now if you excuse me.” Ignoring Aurea's grip in her hand, Star opened the curtains, with Aurea still on her side.
The sight of the audience made Aurea cower in fear but she started to feel something else too. The audience was completely filled with boys of her age, the older ones being 17. It was impossible to turn back now. She felt more and dizzier each second passed.
“Boys...”She whispered with a small grin on her face. Before she knew it, she was running away from there, leaving Star in a state of shock. But she had to brush it off and start everything over like she always did when something messed up happened.
Clearing her throat, she got up to the stand.

“Greetings gentlemen. It’s a real pleasure to meet you all here. As you may know, you’rethe future of Mewni. Some of you may become the Lord’s of your houses, others may be Kings, but one thing is certain, you’re the future of Mewni. Together here we can make a step to change Mewni in the future, it could be tomorrow, it could be when my Daughter is the Queen, but if we work together, Mewni will be a better place for everyone!” In between the applause of the young men she heard Marco call her behind the curtains. “Hmm, excuse me, I’ll be back in a minute.” Going after him, she looked at Marco, who was with a worried face. “What happened?!”
“Star, we found something on the carriage we used last night.” He opens his palm which shows little green flowers who seemed to be made of thin paper. Getting a hold of one them, Star examined thoroughly, suddenly realizing what this was.
“W-Where is Aurea?!” Star screams at her husband “SHE CAN’T BE ALONE DURING THIS!” She says almost crying.
“Do you think it’s is...”
“OF COURSE IT’S MEWBERTY MARCO! How could I be so blind?! She needed my help minutes ago and I didn’t help her...” Star says crying her eyes out. Wiping away her tears, she looks at him “Where is she now?”
“We don’t know, she could be anywhere. And with that many boys in the audience...” Star suddenly realized the risk of all the boys in the audience. They could become her prey at any moment.
“Get the guards ready and take any boy of her age out of the castle. I'll take care of these here.” Running suddenly to the stage, Star calls the attention of everyone. “Thai appointment is canceled. There’s a big butterfly in the castle! Princess Aurea is going through Mewberty this exact moment. EVERY BOY IN THE PRECINCT MOST GO.” Turning into her butterfly form, Star conducted every boy out of the auditorium while opening portals to those who came through them earlier. Unfortunately, most of them came by royal carriages and had to be taken home immediately.

When she helped every boy enter their carriages and gave the sign to their conductors, she turned around and saw green vines growing towards the carriages, who stopped the carriages by creating spikes on their wheels. Suddenly those vines grew on the castle gate blocking everyone from even entering or leaving the castle.
Following the source of the vines, she became startled when Marco appeared at her side.
“Did you find her?”
“If we follow these vines, they will lead us to the source, the butterfly cocoon.” And she was right. Following the vines all the way into the castle, the source was in Aurea’s room, where she perhaps went to hide after having to confront the audience. In the dark of the room, they couldn't see where the cocoon was, but suddenly, something started glowing on the corner of the room.
Suddenly one, two, three, four, five and six hands appeared on, being highlighted by some kind of glow behind them. Marco and Star prepared themselves. Suddenly 2 big flower shaped lights appeared on it. And it started to crack.
“Well, that’s no good” Star said. Less than 10 seconds later, the flower shaped cocoon broke into 2 halves. Inside of it was the princess. “Aurea?” Getting up, Star thought that she had come to her senses but no. 2 big green wings appeared on the now green princess. Her hair was now flower shaped and her six arms were outstanding. The princess blinked at them not responding at anything “Sweetie, calm down. It’s okay. We’re here.” Suddenly a boy scream was heard not so far, being more specific from the front of the castle, from one of the carriages.
“BOOOOY!” Aurea screamed while flying towards the window.
“C’ mon Marco!” Star says carrying Marco bridal style and jumping out of the window and carrying him to the ground. Looking around, even though the scream was supposed to have come from the area, you could hear a single leaf falling on the ground.
Suddenly a boy got out of his respective carriage, he was covered in the paper green flowers, Star tried to warn him to go inside, but no use. Suddenly the princess jumped from beneath his carriage and dragged him by the foot in the air, ignoring the efforts of him trying to get out of her grip. Looking around, Aurea throws the boy into the wall and started putting a goo around him, trapping him on the wall, despite his efforts of trying to get out. Seeing what she had done with him made all of the other boys break their silence with undying screams of horror.
“Guess they never saw the true intentions of a big butterfly.”

Meanwhile, inside the castle, a certain 15-year-old boy who wasn’t in the auditorium when everything came down, arrived at the place. There was no one in there. Something strange about it. They couldn’t already have finished the meeting. Well, that didn’t matter, he only came to the reunion because of the chance to see Aurea again. It was nice talking to her by text, but he likes to see her in the face. But before he could even though of asking someone for directions, he sensed something holding his feet. Looking down, some green vines were trying to grow into his legs and attach him to the ground. He immediately shakes his leg and the vines, as they had will, back off upon noticing who the boy was. He didn’t understand a thing before he heard explosions coming out of the window, looking down he saw the Queen and King Butterfly fighting with someone he didn’t recognize. The thing was flying around and Star was casting some of her most famous spells of apprehension against it, but the thing fought back, using her wings and 6 arms to block all the attacks before they hit her. The Queen was visibly not trying to hurt it but to only trap it. Suddenly he realized who that thing was. It was Aurea, she was going through. He read about it in school and they said it was a pretty bad stage of any princess. They wanted to capture boys for some kind of nest they built near her previous cocoon. His first thought was to get out of there. Since she was busy fighting with her parents, there would be no danger to him being captured by her. But he thought of Aurea. She didn’t have any fault at that. And she was an amazing friend that James wanted to have by his side for as long as he was able to.
Going down the hallways he spotted Aurea’s room and heard a voice coming from inside. Giving in to curiosity, he peeked inside and saw a big book really detailed that seemed to be talking. The book suddenly heard his footsteps.
“Who’s there?”
“CRAP!” James startled and fell back on the ground. “I didn’t mean to upset you... Mr. Book, I’m just curious.” The book suddenly opened and revealed a small blue man.
“I asked you a question, my boy. Who are you?”
“Oh! I'm... James Waterson, sir! I’m a friend of Aurea’s.”
“Oh, you’re the boy she talks about and writes about.” He laughed “What can I do for you, boy?”
“Actually, is there a way for me to stop Mewberty?” It wouldn’t hurt to ask
“Why do you ask?” The tiny blue man looks to the corner of the room and sees two halves of a cocoon. “Oh. Okay. You asked about how to stop the mewberty, didn't you?"

“Marco! Look out!” Star screams to try to warn him, but before he could react, he was surrounded by the paper flowers just like happened almost 30 years before in Echo Creek when Star was going through Mewberty. Star ran towards him and tried getting him out of it, but for some motive, that stuck him to the ground, different from the one who he was attacked within the past. Star while trying to get him out of it got her own hands stuck on it. “FOR SKYWYNNE'S SAKE” she screamed in frustration and turned back to her normal form, now her only 2 hands were stuck. Looking at Aurea, Star saw she open every carriage one by one. Sometimes she would trap the boy in it, other times she would take him off the vehicle and throw him somewhere else and finish it off somewhere else. In less than 10 minutes, all the boys who were supposed to be out on their own houses were trapped everywhere.

When the princess noticed there were no more boys, she went up and looked to the other side of the wall surrounding the castle. Even though all the “royal” boys were in there, there were plenty more out of the castle.
“Nononono... NO!” Star cried out while knowing the true intentions of the princess at that moment. She was about to take flight and go out when a familiar voice rang.
“AUREA!” Looking into the direction of the voice, it was James. Recognizing the voice, she turned her head towards him “You gotta stop this.” The princess came close to him, but not fast, but in an almost delicate way. Her wings fluttering as she looked to him with a serious expression. He gulped, but he had to be strong and don’t let fear overcome him, maybe that way she wouldn’t attack him. “Aurea. I know the friend is in there somewhere. The Aurea Butterfly I know even in the face of such influence as this one would never hurt people would never attack someone, especially when those people are her own parents.” He says pointing to Star and Marco who were looking at him shocked.
“Why is she not attacking him, Star?”
“I only thought it was a myth, but Mewberty princess only attacks those who fear them or look vulnerable. James now neither those things. He’s standing up to bring our daughter to her senses.”
“So that explains why you didn’t attack me while in your mewberty?” Star nods.
“We may not know each other for more than some weeks, but I love talking to you late at night. Your texts make me happy. Your silly photos make me laugh when everything in my life is storming.” Taking a step further, he took one of her 6 hands into his. “Come back. Please.” He says holding back the tears of the thought of not seeing her back. Before he knew it, Aurea looked at him, the first time that she appeared to be conscious and she smiled at him. He thought he won, but she suddenly took a flight to the sky. What happened? He thought to himself seeing the princess go into the sky. Even though the princess was supposed to be still on that state, all the boys who were trapped suddenly were able to get out, as the glue around dissolved into green flowers. The same happened to Star and Marco who already knew what was going to happen. They got up and went to the boy who was looking into the sky still with his palm open where one of her hands were.

“James...” Star went up to him.
“I’m sorry your majesty. I couldn’t stop her. really wanted to.”
“It’s okay, James.”
“It’s not, what if we never see her again? I won’t be able to forgive mys...” then something fell into his hand. A green flower. He looked up and tons of them were falling like rain. Suddenly a bright light appeared on the sky and something (or someone) fell in a pile of those not so far away. Shocked by the surprise, he went up to it. In the middle of them was Aurea, now normal, missing most of the creepy features she had just now. Suddenly she got up and kind felt like she was going to pass out, but James hugged her, waking her up definitely.
“Hey.” She giggled.
“I was really scared about the idea of never seeing you again.”
“You won’t get rid of me that easy.” She says giggling again and looking at him. Just then she felt something on her back. Getting the hair off her back and looking behind it, she smiled widely. “MOM! DAD!” Aurea says running towards then “LOOK! I've got my Mewberty wings!” she says turning her back to them and showing a little pair of green wings.
“We’re so proud of you, Aurea.” Star says “I’m sorry for the way I treated you earlier Aurea. I’m your mother. The day you were born I swore that I would be there for you no matter what happens or what it costs. I should've remembered it.” She says crying “do you forgive me, my flower?”
“Of course mama,” Aurea says hugging her mom lovingly.
Meanwhile, Marco went to James.
“You were really brave out there. I presume you didn’t know about the fact that those creatures don’t attack those who are confident in front of the danger.”
“I appreciate it, your Majesty.” He says smiling at him
“Please, call me Marco.” He smiles back “You know, you remind me a lot of myself when I was your age. Just like you, I tried to help my best friend go through Mewberty, but I gotta say that in the end, I wasn’t able to stop, unlike you.” James suddenly looked at him, how could he be so much like the brave king and captain of the royal guard?
“Mom, does this mean I will be able to do wandless magic?” Aurea asks her mom
“Oh, Aurea. There’s a long way until you reach that. Until then, do your best and follow the flow.”
The episode ends with a shot of Aurea showing James her wings.

“You won’t get rid of me that easy.” She says giggling again and looking at him. Just then she felt something on her back. Getting the hair off her back and looking behind it, she smiled widely. “MOM! DAD!” Aurea says running towards then “LOOK! I've got my Mewberty wings!” she says turning her back to them and showing a little pair of green wings.
“We’re so proud of you, Aurea.” Star says “I’m sorry for the way I treated you earlier Aurea. I’m your mother. The day you were born I swore that I would be there for you no matter what happens or what it costs. I should've remembered it.” She says crying “do you forgive me, my flower?”
“Of course mama,” Aurea says hugging her mom lovingly.
Meanwhile, Marco went to James.
“You were really brave out there. I presume you didn’t know about the fact that those creatures don’t attack those who are confident in front of the danger.”
“I appreciate it, your Majesty.” He says smiling at him
“Please, call me Marco.” He smiles back “You know, you remind me a lot of myself when I was your age. Just like you, I tried to help my best friend go through Mewberty, but I gotta say that in the end, I wasn’t able to stop, unlike you.” James suddenly looked at him, how could he be so much like the brave king and captain of the royal guard?
“Mom, does this mean I will be able to do wandless magic?” Aurea asks her mom
“Oh, Aurea. There’s a long way until you reach that. Until then, do your best and follow the flow.”
The episode ends with a shot of Aurea showing James her wings.
