History:
Spinel was a gem that was made on Homeworld. The injector made a slight miscalculation when implanting her gem into the soil. The error was that her gem was placed too low. The resulting placement made her incubation indifferent. This wasn't really looked upon until she emerged. The other gems around her were both scared and disgusted by her appearance. Spinel had no idea why she was given such stares, and she didn't really see any issue. She found herself to be more unique than most. Despite her obvious disability she quickly managed.

The gems in charge of the incubation thanked Spinel for showing them the error to this injector. She was still confused, but was appreciated to be thanked. However, Spinel realized the situation she was in once she was at point blank range with a destabilizer. She was attempted to be poofed, but her quick movements made short work of the two, before she ran off. She was scared, confused, and worried. She didn't realize where she was going until she fell off the edge of the Kindergarten she was in. She survived the tumble deeper into the abyss of Homeworld, and immediately hid. They never sent any drones after her because they assumed she didn't survive the fall. Scared and confused, Spinel never moved from that spot. She had no idea how long she spent time down there, but when she was found by gems, she was actually overjoyed to see that they were like her; Off Color. She lives with them now, watching each others' backs for protection.

Personality:
Spinel is an easy going gem. She thinks everything happens for a reason, and sometimes that reason does itself. She's quick witted, but at the same time she's slow on the uptake. This often has her friends internally groaning at her own off/on brain.

Abilities:
Spinel has the basic gem abilities of weapon summon, shapeshifting, regeneration, etc. Her gem can produce a light that she can concentrate from all around to a beam. Despite the lack of legs, Spinel is capable of moving very quick very easily. She is self taught herself to use her arms as legs when it is needed. She has incredible balance. Like some Jaspers and Amethysts, Spinel can roll as an attack. Her weapon is currently unknown. She has very high durability.

Trivia:
-She can walk upside down just as easily as rightsideup.
-Spinel's stomach is very ticklish.
