When I see a pic of a yokai OC, I try to guess their tribe by watching it
at the first, I thought it was mysterious or tough

Quick question: why are most yokai names just two words combined together or a pun on a single word?Β I guess it keeps namingΒ simple and easy to understand but there'sΒ got to be a limit to possible combinations...Β

ah I see. Similar to how a skull(dokuro) robot would be "Dokurobotto" or something?

Well in a way...
Some are actually Japanese phrases or words but added on. For example, there's a Yokai whose Japanese name is Naadenaan. Its a play on the phrase "nandenan" which is essentially the Japanese word for "why?" the yokai makes you question everyone and everything

good to know. You come up with decent names yourself! I think you're great at creating and drawing up stuff(better than I am, anyway), and I'll make sure to keep liking your art!
