I strongly believe that this is the most inspirational deviation that I ever submitted. So print it out and hang it on your wall and scream "I can do it too!"
Left: When I was 15 years old.
Right: More than 2 decades later.

This is pretty great improvement... however, for 20 years... that's to be expected, not exactly inspiring.
Now if this was one year's improvement (which I believe is possible), then that would be really inspiring.

Grammar aside, I still will keep my point: If you're going to say it would be more impressive if it was less time, how about you take the advice and improve yours within a year? He gives the tools to do so i.e, Streams/tutorials.
Watch those and take some notes. Reach perfection in a year, or more realistically, Less than 20 years.

Β what someone like You would need to do now, with that mindset, Take it upon yourself to be inspired enough to improve *yourself* in a year then. Watch his streams, Learn your programs better, Understand your own style and then make next year your goal.

Β Not only does practice make perfect, but endurance does too. Most artists dont just "Get Gud" in a year. Thats rediculous to expect that of anyone. Howeve,r if anyone can do that, then commend them. Even if that person happens to become you.
Yes it's amazing imporvement, but do not Trivialize the means of mastering something by proving it would be more impressive if it took less time.
How long do people spend in college to get a doctorates overall? if you go full time about 10 years. And Half the people out there with a Dr.'s arent even capable of the knowledge they "learned"

Despite your bad grammar, I think I got the gist of what you were trying to say.
That said, I think it's perfectly acceptable to expect that if someone practices art for 20 years that they would get better. The guy's good at drawing, I'm not saying he's not. So I think you're trying to make an argument where there is none.
And you're right, most artists don't "get gud" in a year. But the ones that do, I think, are truly inspiring.Β

You sir, sure made my day. After looking at some of thees "Draw it again" pictures I have a hard time to fathom how much improvement some people get over only a year. While I feel that I have not learned diddly squat. While your picture here gave me some kind of perspective where it said, hey. I was about that good when I was 15 as well, and I still have ca 10 years before I am where you are now. And that feels like an actually reachable target if not exedeble. You sure made my day and helped me to continue on with what I'm doing! Hat of to you ^_~
