I strongly believe that this is the most inspirational deviation that I ever submitted. So print it out and hang it on your wall and scream "I can do it too!"
Left: When I was 15 years old.
Right: More than 2 decades later.

No,it may not be. If you look closely to the bottom,you'll see the dates it was drawn. An artist can improve a lot over that period of time.

Wow, I am so glad I found this... I'm glad that at 15, I didn't do very well with art, and now it hasn't even been 10 years, I'm 23, and I have improved vastly, but not to my liking. I am so glad to see that it took you up until 20ish years later to become so talented. I should remember to not be so hard on myself, and learn to appreciate I am learning each and every day, and any time I pick up a pencil or my tablet pen and draw, that I am improving.
Thank you <3 I get upset because I see a lot of people improve within a little amount of time, like one to two years, and get very discouraged, that I am too slow paced, that I suck, it will take me 100 years at this rate to improve, but hey... Even if it takes me 20 years like you, you are very amazing, and I can hope to be just as good if not better in the days to come! <3

You know, I was really starting to feel down on my art- worrying that I'm NEVER gonna improve... I just wanted to say thank you for this- reminding me that it takes years and years sometimes but that giving up is the only thing that could stop you from improving. Just thank you. This is amazing and I think I WILL print it as motivation!

This has got to be THE most inspirational meme I've come across. Not only because it says "Hey, I can do this, so can you!", but also the fact that art takes YEARS of practice, and a lifetime to master. I've seen artists whose art improved/changed drastically in a matter of months, and I've seen others who had to work for years before they discovered a style they're satisfied with. But whether it takes 20 days or 20 years, art is a skill to practice and enjoy for a lifetime.
(Sorry if this came out wrong or awkward. Long story short, just keep swimming drawing, and you'll see the transformation happen before you know it!)
