Uh, perspective (and anatomy at some point) is way off in this one, sorry. It hits me with the first glance.
SB cant have his hand on the helmet like this, considering this dude lying on his back, due to the distance. Plus it would be really hard to hit with a fist like that with the depicted torso position.
I know that all in all this is comic art, contemporary and all but I'm pedantic in this regard

I kinda see what you mean. Although, you could argue that since Connor has tactile telekinesis he really doesn't need to hit that hard to make him go flying up like that. He he. This is still light years ahead of me. Only problem I have is with the description of the issue. How much stuff could possibly go down in Smallville? Does stuff happen BECAUSE Superboy is there, or is there some other reason that bad guys would terrorize a small farm town?

I wasnt about the pose per se but rather anatomical imposibility of this hit. You have to break his wrist and turn clock-wise to position it like this.

im with you on that one.
while im all for dismissing correct lighting, accurate anatomy, etcetera completely, as long as the result LOOKS right, the punch looks completely not like a punch. i guess someone like superboy could snip with his fingers and send someone flying through a wall, but id say either do that (and play for tiny cause - huge effect -> dude is awesome strong!) OR make him punch an actual punch with some weight in it.

Okay, I'm not really all up on the whole Super Hero thing beyond the major names everyone is familiar with, so I've never heard of Psionic Lad. But I really hope he didn't give himself that name. Psionic Lad? Really? That's the best they could come up with? Who ever he is, because I couldn't find any substantial information on him, I hope he changes his name when he gets older, kind of like the Dick Grayson Robin becoming Nightwing (and I only know that from a Batman cartoon I briefly saw while flipping through channels.)
