Description
This was just a funny drawing I did in my notebook during math class. I just wondered what happened when Adam first saw Eve. Being a man, I think the answer is obvious. Now I realize that Adam was also naked according to the bible, but I tried to show Eve as a helpless object compared to Adam. Making her nude and him somewhat covered demonstrates her vulnerability to Adam. So yes, I know its biblically incorrect, but its art.P.S. I did use the poses from another artwork by

The greatest tragedy in human history is that people believe this story.

Rather, an addition to the greatest tragedy in human history is that people disbelieve this event.

I've seen these forms somewhere else before...maybe coincidence? Or did you derive this from another drawing?

Adam and Eve(and by extension, male and female) are an extremely curious subject for me, with an unlistable number of special nuances and natures that are hard to express. Art, music, and dance are often the only ways to do so properly.

run Eve, run as far as you can. men are nothing but trouble and getting pregnant will give you nothing but pain, your kid will be a murderer too.

I like this interpretation, especially the faces. They really help convey the emotion of this historic event.

Yes I realize I used a pose from another artwork, but I didn't think it was necessary to mention the deviation or the deviant since it was only the pose. I'm sorry for the frustration, but I didn't realize I always needed to include mentions.

Come on, it's really more than "only the pose", you took all the characters designs! Same hairs, wich are falling in the same position, exactly the same clothes for "Adam", you copy until the fingers positions!
In facts, you took the design, and put really minors changes! But THAT'S NOT really the point!
The point is that you talk about it like if you were totally create it from the A to the Z, It didn't cost anything to you to say: this picture from inspired me what happen when Adam meet Eve etc etc...
The less than you could do was asking her first to use her deviation by note, especially because she give the autorisation to peoples who just ask her and show what they did, regardless of skills!
This is the difference between create a piece and rip it! Now, wrote her a note, and most of all, add a link to her deviation and her gallery in your description, it just will cost you five minutes maximum

Dude, chill. She didn't realize that you had to mention who she used the poses from. Not to mention that at least she has the talent to draw things from observation. The reason why the models are only slightly changed is because that's how you draw from observation. She liked the poses and she used them, it's the same as drawing from stock photos and from real life, you dont go changing everything or else it looks weird. So stop pointing fingers at her and being over dramatic about it. All she did was use a pose, we all do, it's how we learn to draw and get inspiration. To use someone else's pose is a huge compliment. If the person she borrowed the pose from doesn't mind then you shouldn't either.

What's wrong is wrong. It's good that they changed it, but it was still draw using lack of self originality. Most people find art and work off from it... not copy it.
Just my opinion. It's still good they gave credit.

Oh, we talked it out a while ago on notes. The whole ordeal just got blown out of proportion. But yes, it's always good to give credit and to use the art to enhance your piece/as a model for your own work but not to copy it.
