Description
This was done with a plain-old No. 2 pencil on the back of an agenda during a day of hideously boring meetings at the highschool where I work. I was so pleased with how it turned out, I decided to scan it in and play with it. In the process, I tweaked the contrast and color, which gave it a kind of "instant parchment" effect I rather like. I think I may very well end up coloring it further on the computer, but I like this well enough to show off as is right now.Related content

The intricacy of the scales and all of the texture that you managed to show is really amazing, and he also has some real personality in his face. Nice work!

This is a lovely illustration, it looks realistic but retains a lot of character. It certainly wouldn't be amiss as an illustration in a storyboard like LOTR. It's great when doodles come out like this.

Wow! I love it! Very Lockwoodian
Seriously, you should... you know... shade more. It's nice and gives your stuff a whole extra dimension.
