This is a retake on the old meme to describe pairings I like, yet don't seem to get that much praise for any reason at all.

Here goes nothing...

10. DennisxMargaret (Dennis the Menace)

Why people dislike it: Margaret is a semi-snobbish girl who bosses Dennis around in hopes of marrying him when they grow up, it's obvious that Dennis is not interested in her considering he's at an age where "Kisses are worse than carrots", and people prefer Dennis with Gina considering he doesn't mind her company.

Why I like it: While I'm still having trouble deciding whether Dennis should be with Gina or Liana (for those of you who don't know the latter, I suggest watching Dennis the Menace in: Cruise Control) and as much as I think Margaret should be with Dennis' twin cousin Prentice (watch the episode Double Dennis for info on him), being the reason this pairing is so low on the list, there's no doubt I have a soft spot for this pairing. Dennis' moments with Margaret can be funny, especially when Dennis' frog Willy and dog Ruff are involved. And as little as Dennis wants to marry Margaret when they grow up, Dennis cares about her well-being like the time she wished her doll Molly would come to life and the time she got coated in bon bon while wearing a new dress.

9. BartxBecky (The Simpsons)

Why people dislike it: Bart disliked the kiss Becky gave him, and Becky only kissed Bart because Janey dared her to. And people prefer Bart with either Sherri, Terri, their boy-crazy cousin, or getting back with either Greta, Mary, Jessica, Laura, or Nikki.

Why I like it: I feel like Becky would be the ideal girl for Bart. When Bart signed Becky's yearbook, she read "See ya!" and then acted all "He writes the way people talk!" and clasped her book to her heart.

8. BenderxAmy (Futurama)

Why people dislike it: Bender is a robot, and Amy is a human martian and married to Kif.

Why I like it: I find it a funny pairing, and Amy and Kif got divorced, leading Amy to end up with Bender. And Amy is into bad boys.

7. AshxMisty (a.k.a. Pokéshipping) (Pokémon)

Why people dislike it: Misty is a loudmouth who hits or yells at other people, including Ash, for their stupidity, and people believe Ash should be with either May, Dawn, Iris, Serena, or Lillie, and that Misty should be with Tracey, Brock, or Gary.

Why I like it: As much as I am a Pearlshipper, I've always had a soft spot for Pokéshipping (as well as Advanceshipping), and also, those moments where Misty hit other characters is slapstick. And Misty only hits or yells at people when they're acting like idiots like the time James the Twerp told his sad story leading people to believe he died from hypothermia. Plus, a lot of moments with Ash and Misty can be funny. And when Misty left, Ash felt sad before heading off to Hoenn.

6. BrockxJoy (Pokémon)

Why people dislike it: Whenever Brock tries to end up with Joy, Jenny, or any pretty girl, either Misty, Max, or his Croagunk would get him away from that girl. And people want Brock with either Misty, Dawn, May, Duplica, Lucy, or Olivia.

Why I like it: Brock is training to be a Pokémon Doctor, and him being with Nurse Joy makes sense considering every Nurse Joy has the job of restoring injured or ill Pokémon.

5. 1xLizzie (Codename Kids Next Door)

Why people dislike it: Lizzie is a loudmouth who brainwashed Nigel old bean with a stupid light bulb helmet to get him to spend more time with her, and there are times where Lizzie caused trouble for the Kids Next Door, and Lizzie forced Nigel old bean not to work during lunch breaks. Also, Lizzie is Numbuh Vine. And people want Nigel old bean with either Abigail or Rachel.

Why I like it: This pairing can be funny, especially when Lizzie yells at Nigie for comedic purposes, and her hypocrisy can be funny at times. And she did get her comeuppance when Jimmy the 4th President for Life used the same stupid helmet on her. And Lizzie can be apologetic at times. I do agree to an extent with Lizzie on one thing: Nigie does need a break from the Kids Next Door every once in a while, and let some other Kids Next Door operatives do certain missions. As for her being Numbuh Vine, until the G: KND series is greenlit, it's not canon.

4. LankyxTiny (Donkey Kong)

Why people dislike it: Lanky has no style or grace, and people prefer Tiny with Funky Kong.

Why I like it: I feel bad that Lanky Kong doesn't have a girlfriend, and I feel Tiny should be with him, consider Diddy has Dixie.

3. YoshixBirdo (Mario)

Why people dislike it: Birdo is a "guy who thinks he's a girl", and people might think Yoshi deserves better.

Why I like it: I find this pairing to be cute and funny in a way.

2. 2x5 (Codename Kids Next Door)

Why people dislike it: Abigail hates Hoagie's jokes, Hoagie is an obese kid, and they are too different to each other. Also, people want Abigail with Nigie or Maurice, and people want Hoagie with Fanny or Nigel old bean's cousin.

Why I like it: These two can have funny interactions, and Knightbrace ships them together since he used dental floss to tie them together. Also, as for Abigail hating Hoagie's jokes, think of it as Opposites Attract.

While I'm on the subject, I find it hypocritical that people dislike this pairing for the two being different when they support Kuki and Wallabee as a couple, who are as different to each other as darkness is to light.

1. ArnoldxDA (The Magic School Bus)

Why people dislike it: People prefer Arnold with either Wanda or Phoebe, and Dorothy Ann with Carlos.

Why I like it: I've already admitted it before and I'll say it again: This is my Magic School Bus OTP. Dorothy's moments with Arnold can be pretty clever in a way; Arnold hugged Dorothy after she and Carlos saved them from getting baked into a cake on The Magic School Bus. When Arnold decided to stay behind on Valerie the Magic School Gator, Dorothy agreed to stay with him. Arnold saved Dorothy from being stung by bees with a "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" reference. And when Arnold helped Dorothy hatch an egg, Dorothy kissed him. Plus, when Arnold was orange, Dorothy was smiling when trying to take Arnold to the bathroom.

And all of this is coming from someone who favours Carlos over Arnold.
