Una version alterna de los origenes de Spandex, donde Rachel fue sorprendida en su laboratorio y atacada por unos hombres que trabajan para Haley-Tech y junto a esos hombres estaba su novio Reed quien la traiciono. Incendiaron el lugar con ella adentro, todo se estaba cayendo y entonces, sobre ella, cayo una sustancia que ella estaba trabajando; una sustancia que alteraba la forma de cualquier objeto solido para convertirlo en goma. Un rato despues, su cuerpo comenzo a estirarse mientras se arrastraba a la ventana para escapar y entonces, el laboratorio exploto pero ella logro salir. Tirada al suelo, se arrastro con todo su cuerpo estirado y se fue del lugar, mientras su carrera como cientifica es quemada a cenizas.

An alternate version of Spandex's origins, where Rachel was surprised in her laboratory and attacked by thugs working for Haley-Tech and with those men was her boyfriend Reed who betrayed her. They burned the place with her inside, everything was falling part and then, it fell on her a substance she was working; a substance that can alter the shape of any solid object to make it rubber. A while later, his body began to stretch as he crawled to the window to escape and then the lab blew up but she made it out. Thrown to the ground, he crawled with his whole body stretched and left the place, while his scientific career is burned to ashes.
