Description This is a shot from inside one of the guard towers.

ISLAND FORTRESS PROJECT

The project isn't finished, but I wanted to showcase my progress on it as it comes along. I'm going to eventually make a video of it (and maybe post it in flash/shockwave form on DA).

BEAUTIFUL!!!

You definatly know you have that artistic flare when you are not afraid to make scene like this - "OMG THE SKY IS ORANGE?!?" I joke, I joke! But really, the saturation of this is GORGEOUS!! Perhaps in refining it add SOME cool shades... not to add different colors b/c of the monochromatic scheme you have going, but something to pop out whatever you want your eye to focus on.

Thanks, I used a Bryce pre-set for the atmosphere and the shot is from inside one of the guard towers.

Wait a minute, back up! is this a 3D digital world you are making here? If it is; Awesome and What software are you using because this looks very nice.

Thanks! Yes, this is indeed a 3D world, made in Bryce 5 (from Corel, about $70, I believe). I've only been working on it for a few days, so it's not finished yet, but there'll be more.
