This is a scene I rendered in Terragen. Upped the contrast a little in Photoshop, but aside from that, it's virgin soil.

Looks cool, though the intense sunlight is perhaps a bit off for Mars itself (though a place that looks like mars this is fine.) Sorry for nitpicking.
