Description
Here is one of the drafts from my session for "Solitude", featuring Taffy. The ultra high res finished product, "Solitude", can be seen here:
I recently retouched, "Solitude", which I originally genned back in May of 2023 before going back to remaster it in October. I had only been working with Stable Diffusion for 2 months by that point, and back then my workflow was not as established as it is now, I did not really have a concept of "drafts" and I refused to release anything I didn't consider "good enough".
My concern was that people would see these rough images and think they represented all of what I was capable of doing with the tools. Later, I decided to begin releasing drafts with this specific watermark to communicate with you all that these are not "full works" while still allowing me to share some of the better ones for you all to enjoy. These days I do edit my drafts a little bit, but I spend no more than 20 minutes on each of them, a far cry from the often 20-30 hours it takes me to pull together a "full work".
So here they are. Never before seen drafts from my session to create Solitude from May 2023. I have cleaned these up considerably, there is no way they could have been salvaged with the skills I had back when I first genned them. It pleases me to finally be able to put them up, I like these quite a lot for what they are and it seemed a shame for them to sit in my archive forever.

What's a draft?
As part of my process for a high-res full work, I generate a hundred or more "drafts" to coax what I'm lookingΒ for out of the machine. I like to share some of them with you all; I pick out the best ones and then usually clean them up a little bit to look mostly presentable but they're still rough. The "draft" watermark is to communicate with you all what to expect, and to be transparent about how much of my time, effort and intention went into the image.
