Description Here's a rear view of my Arwing. The round, dark patches are shadows, not textures. I was quite lucky to get those like that. I don't have the actual animation yet. I'll be getting that after the weekend.

The background of both SFX Arwing pictures is Moonchilde-Stock's "Crown Nebula Stock," which I made seamless in GIMP. I ran into it this morning, and it reminded me of the nebulae around Fortuna in Star Fox Assault, so I grabbed it before I ran out the door. Many thanks to him, because had I not found that I would've had to use some other, less interesting nebula.

Of the two, this is probably my favorite render. It's a shame my teacher net rendered it before I started moving this around for my stills. Well, whatever. I'll just fix that over the weekend.

The funny thing is, I'm still not completely satisfied with it! Artists are just critical of their artwork, I guess... The Arwing really means a lot to me, so it's something I'll end up going back to again and again. I'll make one eventually that even I'll consider to be perfect.

Still, I'm very satisfied with how it turned out. Something that my project had last year, and I'm even noticing it again this year, is a high level of detail. Just small things all throughout that add visual interest. I guess I really am cut out for game design!

It's so pretty...*goes to touch it*. *Godly hand comes down and smacks mine*.

Godly voice: Touch not the Arwing! Or I shalt smite thee!
Me: Aww...

Wow, that looks very well done. The sort-of blurred background fits well too.
